E-Bike Battery Safety Tips

Always:

  • Use an e-bike from a reputable e-bike brand.
  • Only ever use the battery and charger that originally came with your e-bike.
  • the battery while charging: do not leave it unattended.
  • When the battery is fully charged and not in the bike: store it at room temperature in a low-moisture environment (such as in an insulated garage or inside your home).
  • Keep the battery away from children and pets.

Never:

  • Use a battery unless purchased from a reputable seller.
  • Charge the battery overnight.

Stop charging the battery immediately if you notice too much heat, smoke, an odor, sounds, or change in shape.
