Water Treatment Plant Bid Information

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Office of the Village Clerk, Municipal Building, 16 Croton Avenue, Ossining, N.Y. 10562 for the following four (4) contracts:

CONTRACT NO. DPW-23-03G INDIAN BROOK WATER TREATMENT PLANT – GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary for all work including demolition, equipment installation, new structures, yard piping, and restoration of surfaces including plantings complete as indicated on the Contract Drawings titled “Indian Brook Water Treatment Plant” or specified under the Contract, Division 1 through and including Division 17.

CONTRACT NO. DPW-23-03H INDIAN BROOK WATER TREATMENT PLANT – HVAC CONSTRUCTION:  Furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary for all work including installation of new heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and modifications to existing HVAC equipment as indicated on the Contract Drawings titled “Indian Brook Water Treatment Plant” or specified under the Contract, Division 1 and Division 15.

CONTRACT NO. DPW-23-03E INDIAN BROOK WATER TREATMENT PLANT – ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION:  Furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary for all work including demolition of existing equipment, and installation of new electrical panels, wiring conduits and other associated electrical work as indicated on the Contract Drawings titled “Indian Brook Water Treatment Plant” or specified under the Contract, Division 1 and Division 16.

CONTRACT NO. DPW-23-03P INDIAN BROOK WATER TREATMENT PLANT – PLUMBING CONSTRUCTION:  Furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary for all work including installation of new plumbing equipment and modifications to existing plumbing as indicated on the Contract Drawings titled “Indian Brook Water Treatment Plant” or specified under the Contract, Division 1 and Division 15.

The bids shall be in accordance with the Specifications, Drawings and Terms of the proposed contract.  These proposals will be received by Susanne Donnelly, Village Clerk, Village of Ossining, 16 Croton Avenue, Ossining, N.Y. 10562 until 10:00 a.m., Prevailing Time, on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

OBTAINING DOCUMENTS:  The Contract Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be obtained electronically by contacting the Village Clerk's Office, 16 Croton Avenue, Ossining, N.Y. 10562, (914) 762-8428, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM beginning on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. BID SECURITY:  Each proposal must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, in the form and subject to the conditions stipulated in the bid documents.

PRE-BID PRESENTATION:  A pre-bid project presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the John Paul Rodrigues Ossining Operations Center, 101 Route 9A, Ossining, N.Y. 10562.  This project presentation can be viewed via video recording by visiting the Village of Ossining’s website at https://www.villageofossining.org/ after the above referenced date.

MANDATORY PRE-BID WALK THROUGH: Pre-bid walk throughs will be held on location at 25 Fowler Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562 for all trades to discuss any items or questions that arise during the bid process.  Contractors must attend one of the three meetings listed below in order to place a bid on any  contract listed in this notice.  Pre-bid walk throughs will be held on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM
  • Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM
  • Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM
