Road Work Notice (updated 8.1.2023)

VILLAGE OF OSSINING

The Village of Ossining Department of Public Works will commence with work in the James Street neighborhood, starting next week. This sidewalk and curb work is expected to be completed over the next two months. We anticipate paving James Street, as well, upon completion of the aforementioned right-of-way work. No significant detours or road closures are anticipated for this work, however, localized parking restrictions will be necessary and posted accordingly.

The new sidewalk and paving work relative to our Five Corners Intersection, as well as all of the necessary subsurface work has been completed. The remaining traffic and pedestrian signal work is expected to be completed in the fall; when this material is delivered.

Con Edison presently has ongoing work on Hunter Street and miscellaneous roads throughout the Village. 

NEW YORK STATE ROADS: NYSDOT is responsible for all maintenance, repairs and permitting.
