Village of Ossining Downtown Revitalization Initiative Community Meeting #1

OSSINING, NY – We are pleased to invite the community to join the Village of Ossining to learn more about the Downtown Revitalization Initiative program and share their input! We will be hosting a meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, on Zoom from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and we welcome our residents and business owners to join the discussion here: https://bit.ly/ossiningdri
 
The Village of Ossining was awarded $10 million through the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) program, a comprehensive approach to boosting local economies by transforming communities into vibrant neighborhoods where the next generation of New Yorkers will want to live, work, and raise a family.
 
At the meeting, we will discuss the following topics:
  • Timeline for the DRI Planning Process
  • A Look at the Ossining Downtown Area
We are looking for public feedback on:
  • Vision and Goals for the Ossining Downtown Area
  • Revitalization Themes, Issues, and Opportunities
  • Potential DRI Projects
Ossining Mayor Rika Levin said, "I am excited for the hard work to begin! This grant gives us the opportunity to make infrastructure improvements as well as bring long term improvement to the lives of the people of Ossining. The community’s input regarding the investment in the potential projects that will take place in our great Village will be one of the most vibrant conversations we’ve had to date. I hope to have a great turnout at our first of three Community Meetings on March 8th."
