Winter Weather Update

Winter Storm Olympia is likely to make for icy roads this evening. In advance of any accumulation or freezing, the Village of Ossining Public Works Department is ready to hit the streets—probably more salting than plowing. First responders are ready and waiting for the inevitable troubles that hit, especially during storms. (Thanks OPD, OFD & OVAC for always looking out for us!) All of us can help by staying off the roads as much as possible.

Temperatures are expected to climb well above freezing overnight, so morning commuters will probably just need to bring an umbrella.
