SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED
SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED IN VILLAGE OF OSSINING
(Ossining, NY, January 23, 2016) In an effort to ensure safe passage along key streets, the Village of Ossining has declared its Snow Emergency law is effective immediately. Under this local statute parking, standing or stopping of vehicles is prohibited on the following designated streets:
Street Side. Location
Broad Avenue South. From So. Highland Ave. to State St.
Croton Avenue. Both. Entire Length
Dale Avenue. Both Entire Length
Edward Street West. From Broad Avenue to Washington Ave.
Everett Avenue South. From So. Highland Ave. to Spring Street
Ferris Place West. Entire Length
Lafayette Avenue. South. From Spring Street to State Street
Main Street Both. Entire Length
North Highland Ave Both. Entire Length
Pleasantville Road. Both. Entire Length
Secor Road Both. Entire Length
South Highland Ave Both Entire Length
Spring Street West. Entire Length
State Street West Entire Length
William Street South. From So. Highland Ave. to State Street
In the event vehicles are not moved from the above referenced streets, the Police Department is authorized to ticket and/or have said vehicle removed from the street. Removal of vehicles from these streets enables Village staff to properly clear roadways to allow these streets to be safely navigated. Thank you for your cooperation.
