Donnelly to Be Appointed to Vacant Trustee Seat

(June 6, 2006)  The Ossining Village Board has asked Susanne Donnelly, a long-time resident of Ossining and active community volunteer, to fill the seat that will become vacant when Trustee Miguel Hernandez is sworn in as Ossining’s newest Mayor at tonight’s Village Board Meeting.  Donnelly will be appointed at tonight’s meeting and will take the Oath of Office at that time.

“Ms. Donnelly will be a tremendous asset to the Village of Ossining,” Acting Mayor Marlene Cheatham commented, “Her business experience and extensive community involvement makes her an excellent addition to the board.”

Ms. Donnelly has been involved in leadership roles in many community service organizations, including: The Ossining Rotary, where she is the immediate past president, Yellow Ribbon International Suicide Prevention Program, the Youth of Ossining Project, The Ossining MicroFund, Hudson River Rambles, The Ossining Community Sailing Club, and Boy Scouts, Troop 49.  After several years of running her own business in the same industry, Ms. Donnelly is currently a Partner and Senior Vice President of M&A LLC, a company that sells, installs and services point of sale equipment for supermarkets.

Ms. Donnelly and her family live on Susquehanna Road.
