Municity Connect User Guide – Property Lookup

The Village of Ossining is committed to providing the public with easy access to property information.
Municity Connect provides our community with access to GIS, code, and records to various properties in the Village. 

  1. Municity Connect is used by the public to do property lookups
  2. It’s a read only view of properties, used to gather information 

Municity1

  • Login using Email and Password
  • The welcome page has 2 options: Property Search and Start a Project
    • Start a Project is not available user
  • Select Property Search

  • Property look up using the map
    • The Using the Map box explains how to use the map to lookup the property

  • Hovering over the property brings up a small property info box

  • Double clicking on the property info box brings up the property

  • Property lookup using the Property Information search window
    • A property lookup can be done using the parcel ID, legal address, street name, owner, owner address
    • Partial searches are acceptable in Municity Connect (ex. Search FOWLER)

  • Double click on the property on the results list to open the property
  • The property homepage contains the property info box, owner, and item tabs

  • The property info box has the following tabs: Property Information, Valuation, and Building/Construction

  • All the item tabs are read only and contain basic information

  • Permits is the only item that can be opened to see additional information (Inspections and Documents)

  • Double click on the permit to see inspections and documents

  • Clicking on View under Details will show the Notes on the inspection

  • There’s a Report a Service Request button that’s on the page, but it’s been disabled
