The train station commuter lot has 68 metered parking spots owned by Metro-North as well as 660 permit spots owned by the Village of Ossining. Permitted spots are free on weekends and holidays (*please note that you must still pay to use metered spots).
Please note that as the Village Clerk has been authorized to temporarily issue refunds to holders of railroad station parking tags for the period of July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 as a result of the governor’s executive orders issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many individuals who possess railroad station parking tags have found themselves working from home instead of going into their offices.
Permit holders of railroad station parking tags who want a refund shall request a refund from the Village Clerk by email between June 1 and June 30, 2020.
The refund will be for the period of July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 and the amount of the refund will be determined by the amount paid for the tag. Railroad station parking tag holders must turn in their 2020 tag no later than June 30, 2020 to receive the refund
Please note that for those tag holders who intend to return to commuting in 2021, a renewal for the tag will be sent out by the Village Clerk in the usual course and for those tag holders who indicate an intent to give up their tag parking permanently, those holders will be removed from the Village Clerk’s list of tag holders.
