Video & Transcript: Ossining DPW Site Redevelopment ENGAGEMENT SERIES: Why Here? Why This? Why Now?

We will kick off the Ossining DPW Site Redevelopment ENGAGEMENT SERIES with a deep dive into the biggest questions regarding this site: Why Here, Why This, Why Now? 

At this session, you can expect to learn what went into the Village's Request for Proposal (RFQ) for the project, see the site from a bird’s eye perspective, and get an introduction to Wilder Balter, the developer chosen to engage the community around their project concept and why they were selected. The presentation will also include the proposed residential affordability mix and discussed the proposed commercial components and community space envisioned for the first story, as well as the extension of the Sing Sing Kill Greenway. Our team will also be sharing information on who could live here, and will discuss the anticipated timeline.

As we wrap up our presentation, we will introduce how the community will be asked to provide input into this building's planning and design phase to ensure a better outcome for our residents, businesses, environment and economy.
