The Village’s fifth edition of the Ossining DPW Site Redevelopment ENGAGEMENT SERIES will include a discussion on the proposed development’s potential impact on the Ossining Union Free School District. With new development often comes new school children, which can create questions about tax revenue, capacity, and budget impact.

Additionally, we plan to discuss the various public amenities proposed for the site, including the a much-needed pedestrian connection between upper Main Street and Station Plaza, the creation of space for retail opportunities, and  over 3,500 square feet of state-of-the-art space for use by the local community groups, including the school district.
