About Mayor Rika Levin
Mayor Levin’s family immigrated to the USA when she was seven, and she was raised in New York. She is a graduate of Brandeis University and earned her MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU. Her professional experience in multiple senior roles in Fortune 100 financial companies and Westchester nonprofits has been helpful in driving and managing various aspects of village government.
Mayor Levin is the Ex-Officio liaison to all Village committees and is laser-focused on improving the lives of the 30,000+ people who live, play, and work in our community while working well with the Town of Ossining, County, and State. Her goal as Mayor is to continuously push the envelope for fair and safe housing, environmental improvements, parks and recreation, advancing youth education and involvement, and the redevelopment of the downtown. She is most proud of the work accomplished during her administration for applying and winning numerous life-changing grants and working “hand in glove” with multiple layers of government to improve our infrastructure.
She is focusing even more energy, going forward, on keeping a balanced fiscal policy, code enforcement, supporting policy improvements for policing and other emergency responders, multigenerational needs, and greening Ossining. Her philosophy: Building A Whole Community.
