Westchester County VFA Convention Parade to be hosted by Ossining Fire Dept., Saturday, September 18

Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association will be holding their 115th Annual convention September 16 through September 18, hosted by the Ossining Fire Dept. Throughout the weekend there will be meetings, training and a memorial service.

The activities will culminate with a firefighters dress parade Saturday, September 18, 3 p.m. More than 30 departments, most with apparatus and bands, are expected to participate.

Parade will begin at Campwoods and Croton Ave, continue down Croton Ave., to Main St., follow Main St., to riverfront.

Come out and enjoy the afternoon while supporting your local firefighters.
