Did you ever want to find out what goes into making our delicious NY farm beer? Here’s your chance. The final day of 2019 is Brew Year’s Eve at Sing Sing Kill Brewery. Join us to help craft this year’s last batch of beer and ring in the New Year together. $60 tickets offer hands-on brewing experience, A Taste of Ossining buffet style dinner, entertainment, games, & prizes, a complimentary NY farm champagne toast at midnight, brewer’s breakfast in the wee hours of the New Year, and commemorative keepsakes to take home.

Ossining’s Museum in the Streets (MITS)
What:
MITS is a free, self-guided walking tour and consists of 25 numbered panels with images and explanatory text about the architecturally and historically significant buildings within the Downtown Ossining Historic District.

The tour starting point is located on the north side of the Ossining Open Door Medical Center at 247 Main St. in Downtown Ossining. However visitors one can also begin at any of the numbered panels and take as few or as many panels as desired.

Recently furloughed or laid-off? Having trouble making ends meet? We know it's been a difficult year. The Ossining Food Pantry is here to help residents of Ossining and Briarcliff Manor. We are a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to helping our neighbors in need. If you and your family are in need of food assistance, please visit with our friendly volunteers at Trinity Church in downtown Ossining (7 South Highland Avenue.) We distribute non-perishable food items on Thursday evenings (6:30-8:00PM) and Friday mornings (10:00AM-Noon.) We have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. **Please consider making an on-line donation to help Ossining Food Pantry feed our neighbors in need. A one-time or reoccurring monthly donation will be greatly appreciated. We are 100% volunteer organization. Virtually all of your donation will go toward the cost of food for the needy.

The Ossining School District needs volunteers! Volunteering offers an opportunity to serve the community and can be a rich, rewarding experience. The district is seeking bilingual English-Spanish volunteers to serve as translators at district and school events. These events include but are not limited to, parent-teacher conferences, parent engagement nights and college fairs. We are dedicated to ensuring all members of our diverse community have equal access to Info and can fully participate in the educational life of their children. An Infoal flier is attached. Individuals with some time to serve as a translator and who are interested in making a difference may fill out an online form to be added to the district’s translator database. Dale Cemetery Heritage Trail: A Walk Through Ossining’s History
What:
What do Sonny Sharrock, Benjamin Brandreth and Ida Foshay have in common? They are all on the Dale Cemetery Heritage Trail, a free, self-guided tour through Ossining’s historic Dale Cemetery. A project of the Ossining Historic Cemeteries Conservancy, the trail features the stories of prominent individuals and families, as well as those who played a role in everyday Ossining life.Trail Maps are available at trailhead signs located at the cemetery entrances.

The Healing Circle: Relax, Restore, and Return to Balance

Join us in a Circle for a Restorative Healing Touch and Reiki Healing. This is a subtle healing practice that supports body, mind, and spirit, prompts an overall calming, balancing, and healing response that enhances health and well-being. Those new to Healing Touch and/or Reiki will receive an individual or group energy healing. Healing Touch and Reiki practitioners will participate in Healing Touch and Reiki exchanges.

The program features BCC Senior Choir singing three pieces, solo by Charlotte Luttkus and Alan Pike, vocal quartet by members of the choir, a Hammered Dulcimer and Guitar duet, and instrumental music by flutist Elyse Knobloch.
