Downtown Development Fund Council

The role of the Downtown Development Fund Council is to administrator the "Downtown Development Fund", which consists of reviewing proposed expenditures involving fund deposits and making recommendations to the Village Board of Trustees. The Fund is a dedicated special purpose fund to be used for improving the Village's downtown and waterfront areas, such as potential grant matches for public improvements and participation in public-private partnership activity, with the goal of increased economic development and sustainability and the encouragement of public access and use of the Village's waterfront
