Fall Program Brochure now available!
Our Fall 2016 Recreation Program Brochure is available.  Please click here to access the brochure.  You will find information pertaining to our upcoming program season including how to register, when to register and specific program details.  Please note, additional programs and events may be added over the course of the season, so make sure to stay connected to our department by visiting this website, likingus on Facebook or stopping by the Community Center to pick up program information.

Updated Summer 2016 Pool Schedule (posted on 8/5/16)
Now with our Day Camp program wrapped up, the pool schedule has changed.  "Open Swim" will now be available from 12:00pm to 9:00pm on weekdays.  Click here for the updated pool schedule.


2016 Summer Waterfront Concert Series
The Ossining Summer Concert Series at Louis Engel Park will begin on Friday, July 8th at 7:00pm with the band Breakfast for the Boys. The eight concert series will continue through the summer with a end of summer "Party in the Park scheduled for August 26th.  Click here for the 2016 concert line-up.


Spray Ground at Waterfront Park
The spray ground operates 12:00pm to 6:00pm, 7 days a week, with the exception of Wednesdays when the spray ground opens to the public at 3:00pm due to Ossining Recreation Day Camp use.  The spray ground operates weather permitting, please call the Recreation Office at 941-3189 to check on the status of the park. If the entry gate is locked and there is no attendant present, the spray ground is closed.

"Open Swim" Pool Passes
In order to access the pool for "Open Swim" all participants need a current Rec ID card and a current "Open Swim" Pass. Rec ID Cards are $10.00 for all residents, and an "Open Swim" pass is $10.00 for a Youth (resident) and $15.00 for an Adult (resident).

Please note, our Sunday "Open Swim" hours are 12:00pm to 6:00pm, now through Labor Day Weekend.  Contact the Recreation Department at 941-3189 with any questions regarding the pool or pool passes. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

  • Fall Program Registration begins - Wednesday, September 7th
  • Fall Programs start - Monday, September 26th (with a few exceptions, will be noted in program brochure)

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Registration Hours at the Community Center
To avoid any inconvenience at the time of registration for any department program, please be aware of our "Registration Hours" at the Community Center.  These hours differ from the Community Center's operating hours.  Program registration and the issuing/updating of Rec ID Cards is available during the following times*:

  • Monday:                    9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Tuesday - Friday:     9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Saturday:                  8:00am - 1:30pm (Closed on Sundays)

*Rec ID cards can NOT be issued or updated after 3:00pm on Mondays or after 1:30pm on Saturdays.  Registrations submitted to the Front Desk staff after 3:00pm on Mondays and after 1:30pm on Saturdays will be held and processed on the next business day.

A "Program Registration Form" is required when registering for a program in person.  Please click here to access the 2016 Program Registration Form.  If you are looking to register for one of our programs or obtain a pool pass for the first time a Recreation ID Card or "Rec ID" is required.  In order to obtain a "Rec ID" a "Recreation ID Card & Membership Form" must be completed.  Click here for the 2016 Recreation ID Card & Membership Form.

These forms are also always available at the Recreation Office at the Community Center.  If there are any questions about how to properly complete these forms or when you need to complete these forms, please call the Recreation Department at 914-941-3189.

On-line Registraion
You have access to on-line registration 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!  In order to register on-line, Rec ID cards for the person(s) being registered must be current/valid.  Click on the link below to access our on-line registration site...

Advisory Board meetings are held at the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 PM.  Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to join us.
