2017 Fall Program Brochure...is here!!!
Our 2017 Fall Program Brochure is now available!  Click here to access the program brochure.  Hard copies of all program information are also available at the Recreation Office in the Community Center.  Fall Program registration begins on Tuesday, August 29th at 9:00am for both in person and on-line registration.

Cedar Lane Arts Center - Summer Art Programs
This summer we are excited about the introduction of new art programs taking place at the Cedar Lane Arts Center located in Cedar Lane Park.  Click here for program listing and registration information.  Please call the Recreation Office with any questions, 914-941-3189.

Summer 2017 Specialty Programs - Sports, Trips, Art...and more
We are excited to be offering a variety of week long camps/programs this summer that are sure to keep the kids active, entertained and smiling!  Click here for a listing of our current Summer specialty camps and programs. 

2017 Ossining Waterfront Concert Series
All summer long Louis Engel Waterfront Park will be the site for great music along the river!  Concerts will take place on Friday evenings, with the exception of August 4th when the concert has been moved to Saturday, August 5th.  Click here for complete concert series performance schedule.  The rain site is the Ossining High School Auditorium.

Spray Ground at Louis Engel Park
The spray ground is now operating from 12:00pm to 6:00pm everyday through Labor Day, with the exception of Wednesdays during our Day Camp season when it is open to the public from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.  We ask that you adhere to all posted rules. Please note, the water features are on timers, if water stops you can signal them to start again by touching the sensor located on the top of the post by the entrance to the spray ground.

NEW - Adopt a Tree Well Program
The Recreation & Parks Department is excited about the new Downtown beautification program "Adopt a Tree Well". This program brought to the community by the Downtown Economic Development Fund Council, allows individuals, organizations or businesses to "adopt" a tree well for a contribution of $199.00.  For more information and to access the application, click here.

Please note, over the course of a program season we may introduce new programs, events and activities, and we also may cancel or postpone programs, events and activities, so make sure to visit this webpage and our Facebook page (click here) for updates and notices regarding all department programming.  Also, updates and reminders are set our through our "RecNews" e-mail list which sends out e-mails to the addresses listed on your household account.

"Open Swim" Pool Passes
In order to access the pool for "Open Swim" all participants need a current Rec ID card and a current "Open Swim" Pass. Rec ID Cards are $10.00 for all residents, and an "Open Swim" pass is $10.00 for a Youth (resident) and $15.00 for an Adult (resident).  Contact the Recreation Department at 941-3189 with any questions regarding the pool or pool passes.

"Lap Swim" Pool Passes
2017 "Lap Swim" passes are available at the Recreation Office.  A current Rec ID Card is required to regsiter for a Lap Swim Pass.  To review our pool pass details please refer to the information in the 2017 Spring/Summer Program Brochure.


REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Recreation Office Hours:
To avoid any inconvenience at the time of registration for any department program, please be aware of our Recreation Office Hours at the Community Center.  These hours differ from the Community Center's operating hours.  Program registration and the issuing/updating of Rec ID Cards is available during the following times*:

  • Monday:                    9:00am - 4:00pm
  • Tuesday - Friday:     9:00am - 8:00pm
  • Saturday:                  9:00am - 2:30pm (Closed on Sundays)

*Rec ID cards can NOT be issued or updated after 4:00pm on Mondays, after 8:00pm on Tuesdays - Fridays, or after 2:30pm on Saturdays.  Registrations submitted to the Front Desk staff after 4:00pm on Mondays, after 8:00pm on Tuesdays - Fridays, and after 2:30pm on Saturdays will be held and processed on the next business day. 

On-line Registration
You have access to on-line registration 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!  In order to register on-line, Rec ID cards for the person(s) being registered must be current/valid.  Click on the link below to access our on-line registration site...Click here for our "ActiveNet" ON-LINE REGISTRATION LINK.

Program Registration Form
A "Program Registration Form" is required when registering for a program in person.  Please click here to access the Program Registration Form.  If you are registering for one of our programs or purchasing a pool pass, a valid Recreation ID Card is required. You have the option of updating an existing Rec ID card on the Program Registration Form.


Rec ID & Membership Form
In order to obtain a "Rec ID" a "Recreation ID Card & Membership Form" must be completed.  Click here for the Recreation ID Card & Membership Form.

Please note, the above forms are also always available at the Recreation Office at the Community Center.  If there are any questions about how to properly complete these forms or when you need to complete these forms, please call the Recreation Department at 914-941-3189.

Ossining Recreation & Parks Department manages a large inventory of fields and facilties found within our Village and Town Parks and Community Center building.  Many of these community recreation resources can be reserved for use by residents.  Please see our field and facility use applications for further information and details on how to secure a field, facility or room...click here.
