There is NO MEMBERSHIP FEE to join the company, but all singers will be required to supply their own scores and help put together their costumes.  If you don’t have a score, a copy of the choral sections of the opera will be provided.

Tosca is a less demanding opera on the chorus, so it is an excellent starter opera for you if you have never done this type of performance before.  Don't be frightened - this is much easier to do than you might imagine, and it is an incredibly exciting, satisfying and FUN performance experience!!!  Music rehearsals will begin on Wed, August 4, 7:00-9:00 pm, and continue with rehearsals every Saturday 3:00-5:00 and Wednesdays 7:00-9:00.  Once staging rehearsals begin around Sept 11, the schedule will fluctuate a little according to the availability of our lead singers, however, we try to keep the Wed/Sat calendar for the chorus as much as possible.

The Lady With All The Answers, A delightful play about Ann Landers by David Rambo, Starring Carol Eagen Directed by Michael Muldoon.  "The Lady With All the Answers" performed by M&M Productions Acting Company, Inc. at the Ossining Public Library on Thursday, October 14th at 7:30 p.m. in the Budarz Theater.  "Dear Ann Landers"…For decades, renowned advice columnist Ann Landers answered countless letters from lovelorn teens, confused couples and a multitude of others in need of advice. No topic was off-limits, including nude housekeeping, sex in a motorcycle helmet, the proper way to hang toilet paper, sibling rivalries, addiction and wandering spouses. Landers regaled her readers with direct, insightful and often humorously honest responses. Late on a 1975 night in Landers' Chicago apartment, an ironic twist of events confronts her with a looming deadline for a column dealing with a new kind of heartbreak: her own. As she shares her struggles to complete the column with us, we learn as much about ourselves as we do about the wise, funny, no-nonsense woman whose daily dialogue with America helped shape the social and sexual landscapes of the last half-century. Directed by Michael Muldoon, Carol Eagen will portray the delightful Ann Landers. For more information contact Melinda O’Brien at 914.962.3431 or MMLibraryTheatre@hotmail.com.

Village of Ossining Presented Police Consolidation Proposal to Town The Village of Ossining delivered a proposal for Police Consolidation to the Ossining Town Board on Tuesday, July 6.  Mayor Hanauer said “The proposal incorporates many of the recommendations contained within a taxpayer funded study.  The study was commissioned by the Boards of both municipalities and was developed with the full cooperation of the Village and Town Police Departments and the respective Police Benevolent Associations as well as Ossining residents.  After 18-months, the Village and Town governments received the final report from the International City/County Management Association in mid-June.  We are very pleased to be able to offer the residents of the unincorporated portion of the Town a substantial tax saving solution, and the retention of their local police officers.” A public presentation of the proposal was given on Tuesday July 6th at the Village Board Meeting.  The presentation is available for review on the Village website at www.villageofossining.org.
